The Region of Crete is organizing the “Workshop on Sustainable Tourism in Crete” on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00, at the Galaxy Hotel Heraklion, within the framework of the European project “DETOCS”.
The main objective of DETOCS is the transition to a sustainable low-carbon economy supporting environmental and economic goals. Through interregional cooperation, the Regions will identify, share and transfer innovative methodologies, processes and good practices with the aim of improving energy efficiency in tourism infrastructure.
The DETOCS project is funded by the INTERREG EUROPE Interregional Cooperation Programme and national funds.
