French photographer Tanguy Muller successfully completed his photographic research trip to Crete, from 24 October to 12 November 2025, invited by Photoxenia in collaboration with Villa Pérochon, the French Institute of Greece and the G&A Mamidakis Foundation.
The event was held at the G&A Mamidakis Foundation’s premises, whilst the artist was selected through the “International Young Photographers’ Meetings” festival, organised by the Villa Pérochon contemporary art centre in Niort.
To mark Crete’s designation as the “European Region of Gastronomy 2026”, Tanguy began work on a still-life photographic series in Crete, focusing on the the island’s culinary heritage.
