
The Technical Schools of the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Michalis Saloustros, Business Studies & Marketing Manager and member of the epaithros+ Cluster, are organizing a seminar on the topic of “Creating Experiential Tourism Products”.
It is aimed at newcomers to the field of experiential tourism. Tourism students and others. Entrepreneurs or employees in tourist accommodations, restaurants or elsewhere who wish to expand their activities. Museum educators, Tour guides. Individuals interested in obtaining additional employment. Unemployed people seeking employment.
The purpose of the seminar is to acquire basic knowledge in the field of experiential tourism. Upon completion of the seminar, participants will be able to design their own experience and capitalize on a new trend in the tourism market that is a global phenomenon. Using the knowledge, they will gain, they will be able to implement their own experience product. Finally, they will learn basic techniques for promoting experience tourism products.

Duration and cost of the seminar: 16 teaching hours, Monday and Wednesday from 09/02/26 to 18/02/26 and time 18.00pm to 21.15pm. Price 170 euros.
The program is implemented with modern distance learning or in person.
Dates: with the new year (2026). Optionally, the possibility of a 4-hour practical training visit to the Traditional Village “Arolithos” is provided with an extra charge of 25 euros.
Speaker: Michalis Saloustros has been working for over 15 years in the tourism and culture sector, being a member of a family with a tradition in both. He has been involved in museum-pedagogy and theater, organizing programs and experiences for children and adults. He holds a foreign degree in Business Studies & Marketing Management. He has experience in human resources management and in organizing events of a tourist and cultural nature. He is interested in and develops actions in adult education.
