The Region of Crete, on the occasion of its designation as the European Region of Gastronomy 2026, is proceeding with the drafting of an Operational Plan for Cretan Food Culture 2026–2030.
The participatory process is regarded as a key element of the plan and, for this reason, the Region invites you to take part in the online consultation and submit your views, ideas and suggestions.
The aim of the consultation is to give a voice to the people of Crete so that, together, they can shape a plan that will highlight the authenticity, history and value of Cretan food as a driver of sustainable development for Crete.
