The call for proposals for the Action “Participation in European Co-Funded Research and Innovation Partnerships under Horizon Europe” of the Competitiveness The programme has been published, with a total budget of €18,000,000.
The Action forms part of the framework for supporting and promoting international collaborations and aims to strengthen the outward focus and competitiveness of the research and innovation system through the participation of Greek research organisations and enterprises, in collaboration with entities from other countries, in the international competitive calls for proposals of the European co-funded partnerships under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme. The Action covers projects involving Greek participants (enterprises and research centres) in the calls for proposals of the European co-funded partnerships, in which the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation participates, issued by the EU within the framework of the Horizon Europe Programme (EU Regulation 2021/695) for the funding of international research and innovation cooperation activities.
Participation Requirements
- The maximum total budget of the funding applications submitted must not exceed the limit of €250,000 in cases where a Greek entity acts as coordinator in the European project, and the limit of €200,000 in cases where one or more Greek entities act as partners.
- The aid intensity is up to 100% for research organisations and up to 70% for enterprises.
- The maximum implementation period for the project proposals submitted is thirty-six (36) months.
- To cover the private contribution, the beneficiary enterprise may use its own resources (own contribution) and/or a loan.
- The projects proposed for funding will be eligible if they relate to research and development projects and the project to be supported falls into one or both of the following categories: a) industrial research and b) experimental development.
