Kapetánissa Concept Studios is a family-run studio complex in Stalis, Crete, inspired by the island’s heritage, landscapes and way of life. More than just a place to stay, Kapetánissa is a base for discovering Crete beyond its beaches and connecting with its people, culture and flavours. Our two studios blend modern comfort with earthy tones, natural textures, stone and wood, drawing inspiration from the Cretan landscape and traditional aesthetics. We strive to make hospitality more inclusive through our Zála Accessible Studio. We encourage guests to explore more of Crete by recommending lesser-known monuments and archaeological sites, as well as cycling routes. They can also discover local produce and meet the producers behind it through experiences such as wine and olive oil tastings, organised by local producers we work with. Our approach combines authentic hospitality with environmentally and socially responsible practices, promoting sustainable travel and connections with the local community.
Through our participation in epaithros+, we aim to build a network of businesses and organisations that share common goals and interests in outdoor tourism and the promotion of the local experience. At the same time, we seek to grow through the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices, whilst also actively contributing to the cluster’s objectives by drawing on our own experience and resources.
