Two informative evenings focusing on sustainable agriculture and rural development are to be held in the coming period on the Lassithi Plateau and in Krousonas. Specifically:
- Friday, 11 July, at 6.00 pm, in the Municipal Council Chamber at the Lassithi Plateau Town Hall
- Monday, 14 July, at 18:00, in the Krousonas Parish Hall
During the events, the main research findings of the “THRUBELIA” and “HP-APPLE” projects will be presented by the project partners ELGO DIMITRA, European Progress O.E. and the Krousonas Agricultural Cooperative, followed by presentations and discussions on sustainable agriculture and the prospects for rural development by leading speakers.
The Rural Tourism Cluster epaithros+ wI will also take part in the event, with Chryssa Pagalou, Director of ETAM S.A. and Cluster Coordinator, speaking at the event; she will present epaithros+– Rural Greece as a means of promoting local products.
The measures are being implemented under the auspices of the Region of Crete, the Municipality of the Lassithi Plateau and the Municipality of Malevizi.
