Experiential workshop on the topic of “Hiking safely” in Vagionia

The Municipality of Gortyna is organizing an experiential workshop on the topic of “Hiking safely”, within the framework of the creation of a network of hiking trails “Asterousia Trails”.

The project concerns the creation and promotion of a network of 11 hiking trails in Asterousia with signage, mapping interventions and promotion and information actions for residents and visitors with the ultimate goal of protecting nature, strengthening nature-loving tourism and the gentle development of the area.

The event will take place at the Vagionia Primary School, on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 19:00, with the aim of informing the local community and the bodies of the Asterousia area.
