The Rural Tourism Cluster epaithros+ and the travel platform Rural Greece take part in the 11th Amari Green Festival, which takes place on 23–26 July and showcases the hinterland of Crete through cultural, nature-based and creative activities in 25 villages and settlements within the Municipality of Amari.
As part of the festival, the opportunities for networking, promoting and strengthening rural areas will be highlighted via epaithros+ and the Rural Greece travel platform, with a particular focus on routes and businesses in the wider Amari area.
The highlight of our visit is the speech by Dr Chryssa Pagalou, General Manager of ETAM S.A. and Coordinator of the epaithros+ Cluster, entitled: “The epaithros+ Cluster and the Rural Greece platform visit the Municipality of Amari” which will take place on Saturday, 25 July, 19:30–20:00, at the PANAKRON Estate, as part of the series of local meetings organised by the epaithros+ Cluster in Crete.
Our presence at the festival is an open invitation To all those who are active in, create content for, or are inspired by the Amari countryside: come and get to know epaithros+ and Rural Greece first-hand, find out about the region’s routes featured on the platform, and explore ways to get involved in a network that strengthens local identity and rural communities.

The project, entitled “Rural Tourism Cluster epaithros+”, is being implemented under the “Research-Innovate” Action of the “Competitiveness” Operational Programme of the NSRF 2021–2027 and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources.
