For the 18th year running, the winemakers of Crete welcomed friends and wine professionals to the “OiNotika” exhibition, which took place from 27 February to 1 March at the International Exhibition Centre of Crete, in Gournes, Heraklion, co-organised by the Region of Crete.
The event has now become an important fixture in the Cretan wine industry, showcasing the potential of Cretan winemaking and the importance of promoting local products and entrepreneurship.
The Rural Tourism Cluster epaithros+ actively supported the organisation by acting as a sponsor, thereby strengthening initiatives that promote cooperation, outreach and quality in the sectors of agrotourism, gastronomy and wine tourism.
The event was attended by the Chairman of ETAM S.A., Mr. Nikos Drakonakis, and the General Manager of ETAM S.A. and Coordinator of the Cluster, Ms. Chryssa Pagalou.
Through its participation in and support for such initiatives, the epaithros+ Cluster continues to play an active role in promoting the authentic culinary and wine heritage of the Greek countryside and in strengthening local entrepreneurship.
