Karpathos was voted by Dutch tourists

The list was formed after research and on-site visits to Greek islands by the editors of the website. As stated at the beginning of the article, “the Greek islands are ideal for “active” travel experiences and are ideal for hiking, windsurfing, diving, cycling and climbing. From one end of Greece to the other, five island destinations stand out for nature lovers, with everyone’s favorite being Karpathos.
According to Griekenland.net, “many beaches in the south of Karpathos have the ideal conditions internationally for windsurfing and kite surfing. The north side stands out for its unique hiking trails, while the sense of adventure on the second largest island of the Dodecanese is offered in “brave” quantities through climbing, cycling and scuba diving and shipwrecks. It is important that the island is an earthly paradise for every category of traveler from May to October, but even in July and August, as due to its morphology it is never crowded.”
The list of the Dutch website is completed in the following positions with Ikaria, Kythnos, Thassos, Kalymnos and Lefkada. “Karpathos is a large “canvas” that each traveler will put their own “touches” to create their own unique combination for the ideal vacation with relaxation, local cuisine, fun activities in nature, visiting historical monuments and touring villages,” said the Deputy Mayor for Tourism of the Municipality of Karpathos, Tasos Milios.
It is noted that the distinction for Karpathos and Greece arose in the context of the municipality’s informative contacts.
