The Region of Crete, through the Innovation Business Observatory, invites businesses based in the Region of Crete, which have developed innovative products, services or business processes, to take part in the Innovative Entrepreneurship Awards 2026.
The institution, which is being organised for the fourth year running, aims to highlight and reward the most dynamic and innovative business initiatives in Crete, showcasing businesses that create value through innovation, technology and modern business practices.
The purpose of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Awards is to recognise and reward businesses that excel in their innovative activities, whilst contributing to the strengthening of the competitiveness and sustainable development of the local economy.
All businesses based in Crete that carry out activities relating to one or more of the innovation categories of the Awards, are invited to submit their applications, in accordance with the terms and procedure for participation.
Entries may be submitted in the following three categories: 1. Best Innovative Business Award 2. Innovative Product/Service Award 3. New Innovative Business Award
The nominations relate to businesses operating in the sectors of the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Region of Crete: Smart Tourism & Culture, Sustainable Agri-Food, Health & Wellness, Digital Technologies, Sustainable Use of Resources (Energy – Environment)

The announcement of the winners and the presentation of prizes will take place at a special event organised by the Region of Crete towards the end of November.
