The Municipality of Chania is organizing, for the third consecutive year, the “260KMemories Festival”, a three-day Alternative Tourism & Experiences Festival, which will take place from May 16 to 18, 2025, at Katechaki Square, in the Venetian Harbor of Chania, from 18:00 to 23:00.
The goal of the 260KMemories Festival is to highlight the dynamic efforts carried out throughout the year by organizations and individuals in Crete, offering both visitors and locals a wide range of experiences and alternative activities.
During the three-day festival, professionals, institutions, and collectives from all over Crete who are active in the fields of alternative tourism and experience-based tourism will participate. They will showcase their services and activities at the Alternative Tourism Exhibition, which will be hosted at Katechaki Square. A special thematic section will also be dedicated to religious tourism.
As every year, the festival will include a series of engaging activities (homemade wine competition, icon painting workshop, stargazing session, traditional Sfakian pie-making demonstration, floor game about the sea turtle and live Byzantine choir performance).
